We offer a variety of course options for adults by experienced instructors ready to help you reach your personal goals! Recreation programs are a great way to meet new people, learn and practice new skills and learn about our community.

Tap Dance Come join the fun in adult tap and let yourself go in either intro to tap or advance tap. All ages welcome. Learn the steps and rhythm, travelling steps and shuffles. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your tap shoes. Registration is required.

You don't need a partner or any previous experience to have a great time line dancing! Learn 1-2 new dances to current country and pop hits each week, with time for practice and review. Cowboy/girl boots are encouraged, but any leather soled shoe will work! This class accepts daily sign ups, if the course has not sold out. Cost for single class visit is $12 R | $14.40 NR, payable at the time of check-in.

Want to learn to dance for weddings, cruises, taverns/clubs, or parties? Or, heard that learning to dance is good for your body, your brain, and your spirit? We have options! Learn slow partner dancing with Foxtrot and Waltz basics, where partners are recommended but not required. Non-sticky soled shoes and casual dress recommended.

Explore the art of Ballet in this class for new or beginning students! Develop an understanding of terminology, alignment, balance, and artistry through barre, center and traveling exercises. A fun and non-competitive way to immerse yourself in the beauty of dance. Wear comfortable clothes and ballet slippers or socks.
Writing What Wants To Be Written: A guided and structured environment for developing a writing practice. Using prompts and some relaxation techniques, we will explore the process of letting ourselves write about that which has personal meaning. We will also have opportunities for sharing with each other. Course is led by Bonnie Novakov Lawlor, M.A., author of Safe To Fall, Memoir of A Mind-Body Healer.
Get started with basic sewing and machine skills while stitching fun projects. Build on what you've learned each week to make pot holders, tote bags, aprons and PJ pants and more if time allows. Included are patterns and fabric plus the use of sewing machines and supplies (Shears, pins, thread, seam gauge, seam ripper, tape measure, highlighter) while attending the class.
